Community Fund

The HIM Initiative is excited to announce the launch of the HIMI Community Fund for Tucson community invested in scaling out projects or community programs that center gender justice work, healthy masculinity, and systems change. Applicants may apply for mini grants up to $5,000 to support their own projects that aim to expand the healthy supports available to masculine identified youth. All projects to be considered will have an explicit focus on masculinity work. The uses for this funding include but are not limited to:

    • Pilot Programs to Address Unmet Needs
  • Educational Series, With Priority to Creative Intergenerational Approaches
  • Trainings Focused on Institutional Change and Capacity Building
  • Community Events & Forums
  • Efforts to Affect Relevant Policy Change in Schools or Juvenile Justice
  • Collaborations or Programs Emphasizing Fatherhood
